Lakhish () is a moshav in the northern Negev in south-central Israel. It is named for Lachish, the ancient town of the same name, which is now an archaeological tel. It is under the jurisdiction of the Lakhish Regional Council. The moshav was founded as a Nahal settlement in 1955 and later became a moshav. It is founded on the land of the depopulated Palestinian Arab village of Al-Qubayba.〔Khalidi, 1992, p. 221〕 The economy of Lakhish is based on the cultivation and sale of grapes. In 2006, the moshav built a large reservoir with a capacity of 1.25 million cubic meters to irrigate its 6,000 dunams of vineyards.〔(Agriculture from KKL-JNF Reservoirs )〕 ==Notable residents== *Yoav Bruck 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Lakhish, Israel」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
